Allocated US Navy serial 150768 before delivery to the West German Army in 1963. Allocated serial 8083 by 1968. Sold as N90807 in 1976 then reregistered as N97AA in 1992 and N58HU in 2002. Current on the register in 2024.

This piston-engined Sikorsky HSS-1N (150768) was sold new to Germany and served served with the military (Navy?) wearing the markings QK-580, QW-408, 8083 before it was retired and sold to the to US where it flew commercially as N90807, N97AA and N58HU (data source rotorspot.nl). In June 2015, it migrated to the northwest United States to join ADF Helicopters' large cherry drying S-58 fleet based in Brewster, Washington.

At one time with the German Air Force coded 80+32, this helicopter was sold back to the USA in the early 70s as N51881. Photographed here being imported into Canada with registration N8292 taped over and would become C-GQCJ.
