From a collection of photos by Clyde Engineering showing A16-31 at Bankstown after repairs at Clyde's factory at Lidcombe in Sydney. It had been damaged at RAAF Pearce, Western Australia over a year earlier. The expensive exercise to ship the aircraft from the west coast of Australia to the east coast for repairs brought only a short lived benefit. There are two versions as to when and where A16-10 ended on its nose. One says it was an accident at RAAF Richmond on October 31, 1940. The other says the date of the accident was December 31, 1940 and at Darwin. At the time of both accidents the aircraft was with 13 Squadron which was a Darwin-based bomber squadron. The photo is dated 1941. A16-10 was repaired by Clyde Engineering, a large engineering company, at its aircraft repair facility in Sydney. Back in RAAF service, A16-10 was sent to 1 OTU in Victoria. Acquired by the RAAF Museum as part of a Hudson rebuild project along with VH-AGX

Sold after WW2 to Guinea Airways as spares. Fuselage became a shed in Belair, South Australia. Fuselage acquired by the Warbirds Aviation Museum at Mildura. Sold as spares for the restoration of A16-122.

Delivered from the USA by ship and received at 1AD Laverton on 7 February 1940. Issued to 7 Squadron RAAF on 5 August 1940. Reallocated to 2 Squadron on 21 October 1940.
