The United Nations - World Food Programma contracted this Skoll-owned Mi-8AMT for work in Haiti. It was allocated a UN-code UN-93W at the time but this was not carried externally, only used in paperwork.

Leased from Sochispetsavia to operate flights between Malta and Gozo. Exhibited at the Naxxar Trade Fair grounds to promote the Malta-Gozo service and local pleasure flights.

This Mi-8AMT was manufactured in '93 and delivered as UN-25745 to Solkat. First reported with the Afghan government in late 2004 and its construction number was confirmed when this picture was madde. It operated for the Ministry of Interior up to Jun'08, It was then reregistered to 9Q-CXL and seen without titels at Bost Airport, Lashkargah, a city in Helmand Province in Afghanistan. The Mi-8 was repainted in a white colourscheme with black exhaust areas, and an unknown black eagle badge on its engine cowlings. Last seen as such in May'10. Current status unknown.

This Russian Mi-8AMT was based at Heraklion for fire fighting duties in the 2020 fire season.

Just arrived for its new mission over Afghanistan, this Russian UN Humanitarian Air Services Mi-8 Hip was bought by an An-124 transport aircraft to the Asian country. The tail boom was still in its fuselage, so maintenance had a job to do.
