By Feb 1941: constructed as L-18-08. To Trans-Canada Airlines with c/r CF-TCY. 1941-1947: Flagship of the TCA fleet. Mar 48: Transport Department, Canada. Converted to Club Executive model for use by Prime Minister Louis St. Laurent, Cabinet Ministers, and visiting heads of state. Ca. 1967: Found abandoned at Chicago Midway Airport, seized by the airport authority and destined for scrap. 1968: Earl Reinert, Victory Air Museum, Mundelein, IL. Wings removed for transport to Mundelein. Ca.1969: Marked to represent RAF Hudson operating during WWII.

Delivered to Trans Canada Air Lines as CF-TCY in 1941. To the Department of Transport in 1948. Sold in 1958. Impounded at Chicago-Midway around 1966. Moved to the Victory Air Museum in 1968 and painted to resemble an RAF Hudson. To the Canadian Museum of Flight when the Victory Air Museum was forced to close in 1986. Moved around various locations for storage and restoration.

Since this photo taken the aircraft has been moved to Abbotsford for a rebuild and then it is to be displayed at the Canadian Museum of Flight's main location at Langley.

Part of the Canadian Museum of Flight collection. This Lodestar was initially displayed at Surrey, BC, but when in 1996 the museum moved from there to Langley, BC, the aircraft ended up here, on temporary display. In Oct 2007 it was dismantled and trucked to Abbotsford, BC for a long-term cosmetic restoration by students of the University of the Fraser Valley Aerospace Centre, which was expected to take 15-20 years. When finished, the aircraft will join the rest of the museum's collection at Langley, BC, Canada. Note the Trans-Canada Air Lines - TCA logo on the nose.
