Built as U-1A US Army s/n 58-1715. This a/c saw action in the Vietnam War, being assigned to the 18th Aviation Company based at Nha Trang, SVN. Transferred to the Civil Air Patrol in June 1977. It is still active, now registered as N336AK, and has been upgraded with a Garret TPE 331-1 turboprop engine.

This Wings Airways Otter has just arrived from Juneau via CAM9 Vancouver South. It is to be dismantled on shore and then brought to Kal Air Repair for painting and maintenance. See here.

After landing on the lake (see here), it has just been lifted off its floats and then the wheels were installed, wings removed and it was towed by road a short distance to the airport where it will receive a stunning new paint scheme. Operated by Wings Airways in Juneau, Alaska

Delivered to the US Army June 1959 as 58-1715, Otter number 333 was struck off strength December 1976. Registered to the Civil Air Patrol's Pacific Region as N5352G until January 1980, it was refurbished in Canada as C-GBNJ and flown by Parsons Airways for the next nine years. It was sold to Ketchem Air Service as N567KA (note non-standard hyphen) and here in Vancouver for servicing. Flying in Alaska with several airlines re-registered as N336AK, it receiving a Texas Turbine conversion in 2003.
