Originally operated by deHavilland, then Hawker Siddeley Aviation and finally British Aerospace, over a period of 27 years. The registration was cancelled on 4 January 2019 as permanently withdrawn from use.

This aircraft was used by Group Captain A F (Sandy) MacDougall as transport for his job as De Havilland Regional Manager (Central & South America) for . Also it was a demonstrator for the type.

It was sold in 1986 to a succession of private owners, ending up with Aviation Heritage (Air Atlantique) at Coventry. The registration was cancelled on 4 January 2019 as permanently withdrawn from use, and it was last reported at Postling, Kent, in July 2019.

Made several flypasts as part of the air display at the DHMC Rally.

Hawker Siddeley absorbed the proud De Havilland name, making this an 'HS Dove'! No Way its a De Havilland.
