Delivered to Swissair as CV440-11 HB-IMC in 1956. To Martinair as PH-MAL in 1966 and converted to a CV640. To Mid-America Airlines as N640R in 1971 then to Zantop International Airlines in 1973, C&M Airlines in 1997 and Aeronaves TSM as XA-UNH in 2010. Damaged in a landing accident at Saltillo, Mexico in 2017 and stored there.

scan from the NK collection. - A Convair 640 was a rare sight in European skies, besides Martinair with two aircraft only SATA of Switzerland operated one. This aircraft here started as HB-IMC with Swissair and was converted with Dart engines for Martinair in 1967. 50 years later, it was still active and noted as XA-UNH with Aeronaves TSM, a Mexican cargo operator.

1956 vintage Convair started out as a 440 for Swissair. Ten years later it was sold to Martin's Air Charter (Martinair) as PH-MAL where it was converted to 640 standard. Imported to the USA in 1971 by Omni International as N640R. The aircraft joined the fleet of the new Zantop International Airlines in 1972 when they bought it in June. It went on to fly with Zantop for the next 25 years.

Delivered as a Convair 440 to Swissair as HB-IMC in June 1956. Bought by Martinair in October 1966 and converted to CV640 in February 1967. Sold as N640R in September 1971. Seen taxying away from Schiphol Oost.
