The excellent HAL Museum in Bangalore shows the history of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, the Indian aircraft manufacturer. On display is the first Indian Air Force DH Dove with serial HW201. It was the first transport aircraft the Indian Air Force acquired post-independence. 22 aircraft served across six units from 1948 to 1987.
