K25 slide scan. Built 1952 as N8223H for National. Northeast 1963, withdrawn 1967. Air Djibouti F-OCYJ 1974, IFA OO-IFA 1977, Interocean 9J-AEP 1978, N84AU 1979, withdrawn Lanseria 1989. Scrapped 1990, nose section to SAA museum. Aircraft is listed as DC-6B in literature, however pictures show a full size cargo door when in service with Air Djibouti onwards.

Despite the airline's name, this DC-6 was at Gatwick on this date to operate enthusiasts' pleasure flights.

In 1976 she went to International Freight Airways as OO-IFA. Two years later, she became N799TA with Atlas. The she went to Interocean as 9J-AEP before sold to Urban Drew as N84AU in 1979 and joining Air Swaziland in 1982. In 1986 she was sold to Flying Enterprises and leased to Interocean again. Wfu at Lanseria in 1989 and scrapped the following year. The nose section is preserved with the SAA Museum at Rand.

Next briefly registered N779TA and 9J-AEP, she passed into private hands as N84AU before finding her way to South Africa, eventually being broken up at Lanseria in 11.90. The nose section was saved for the SAA Museum

This aircraft was leased by Air Djibouti from April 1974 until March, 1977
