Three large steel pylons were erected during the summer of 2018 and the aircraft was hoisted in place atop them. I asked some folks working at the resort what the plans were for the aircraft and was told that it might be used for a zip line or outfitted as a cocktail lounge. Also of note, this aircraft was the last Northern Air Cargo DC-6 type aircraft to be retired in September 2008.

Only four of them saw fairly frequent use, one of which was this N6174C (ex C-GBYN, N1281, N402US, N34959). It was acquired by them in June 2002, and eventually withdrawn from use in Sep 2008. A little over a year later this oldie was bought by Everts Air Cargo, and was still in use with them by 2016.
