Ex CCCP-67517, delivered to Tikal Jets in October 1993. Purchased by Jungle Flying/Aero Ruta Maya in November 1998. Registration cancelled in early 2014 but re-registered shortly afterwards. Current status uncertain.

Tikal Jets used their pair of 1-11s mainly for tourist flights to Flores which is the airport situated close to the famous ruins of Tikal, situated in the jungle not too far from the airport. Here seen during take off with volcano Fuego looming behind. Served with Tikal Jets until 2003 - scrapped at Guatemala City

Registered as G-BENB before delivery to DLT as D-CDLT in 1977. Back to Shorts as G-BENB then reregistered as N330SB in 1979 and leased to various operators. To Command Airways as N58DD in 1982 then to Tikal Jets as TG-TJA in 1992 and Air Cargo Carriers as N58DD in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Hartford Municipal, WI by 2010 and later scrapped.

The Santa Elena/Flores Airport neat the Tikal ruins in Northern Guatemala. Tikal Jet still doing daily flights between Guatemala City and Flores with a BAC1-11 in 2003 !

Delivered to American Airlines as N5043 in 1966. To Out Island Airways as VP-BDJ and merged into Bahamasair in 1973. Reregistered as C6-BDJ in 1975. To N218CA in 1984 to and Cascade Airways in 1985. To G-BSXK in 1990 but not taken up then to Zircon Aviation as N97JF in 1991. To Tikal Jets as TG-TJF in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Guatemala City around 2002 and later scrapped.
