A few years later, Bokassa crowned himself emperor, and with support from France he even received a second Caravelle. - TL-AAI was put into storage at Paris-Orly and was scrapped in 1983.

This frame has an extended history. The highlights are that it began as N8785R with Trans Caribbean Airways. It also operated with UTA as F-BOLK, LACSA as N29549 and Kalitta as N809CK. Reported broken up circa Nov 2000.
