Airspur operated from the top floor of a car park at LAX. Registered as G-BKFF in 1982 before delivery to Airspur as N5840T in 1983. Returned to Westlands and stored at Yeovil around 1989. To the Helicopter Museum, Weston-Super-Mare in 1997. Moved to Kestrel Caravans, Kettering to be converted to a glamping pod in 2024.

On its delivery flight from the Israeli manufacturers to start-up carrier Airspur in Southern California, N601AE pauses in the old Bay 1 of Prestwick's main terminal in preparation for the next, Reykjavik, leg of its transatlantic journey.

Start-up Airspur began passenger and cargo flights around Southern California October 1, 1981. The airline ordered 10 IAI Aravas for the service, but only 4 were delivered. This was the third aircraft, but by December 1982, fixed wing flights ended as the airline switched to helicopters, having ordered 10 Westland WG-30s. Taken over by a leasing company, N701AE eventually ended up in Mexico.

This helicopter was delivered to Airspur in 1983 it is now used by the Petans offshore training school at Norwich Airport as an instructional airframe. Note that the rotors are not original
