Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge. Joined the fleet of the newly formed Transwest Air in 2000.

Moved to a new base at Selwyn Lake Lodge, Saskatchewan in 2006, operating for PIC Flight Services. Joined the Transwest Air Partnership at La Ronge in 2011.

Delivered new to the Province of Ontario in 1965, initially to the Department of Lands and Forests then to the Ministry of Natual Resources. Subsequently served with Latham Island Airways, Air Tindi, Northern Lights Air and Athabaska Airways. Registered to Transwest Air in 2001. Joined Polar Developments Ltd at Yellowknife, NWT, in 2013. Later repainted into a dark blue and orange scheme, fitted with a four bladed prop.

Received a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power in 1997. Joined Transwest Air in 2001. Working from Stony Rapids, it was destroyed in a tragic accident, with the loss of its pilot, on 22 August 2013. After a long and difficult day's work in windy conditions, the aircraft struck trees with a wingtip on its last landing at Scott Lake. The pilot nevertheless elected to take off again for Ivanhoe Lake. After an apparently normal takeoff, aircraft crashed into a small unnamed lake, 17 minutes into its flight and 7 miles south of its destination. The aircraft broke up on impact.

Back home in the late evening and gliding towards the Transwest Air dock at La Ronge. In 1991, this was the first Turbo Beaver to receive the Viking Air kit conversion to allow operation at 6,000 lbs gross weight.

At the end of the working day, just tied up and made secure in the Transwest Air docking area at La Ronge, Saskatchewan.
