Part of a trio of 748s delivered to Zambia Airways, Bravo-Kilo started her useful life in 1970. She moved back to the UK as G-BPNK but quickly found a new home in France as F-GHKL with Nice based and short lived Kel Air. Next and last operator was Héliglobe/Finet. She was then seen at Orly in October 1995. Last reported activity took place when her CofA was cancelled on 25 Feb 1997, She met her fate in 2001 in Auto Pieces scrapyards at Le Creux de la Thine, France,

Built as a F.1 and converted to an F.2 prototype with a Rolls Royce Nene engine in place of the DH Goblin. The aircraft later acquired two "elephant's ears "dorsal intakes to feed more air to the rear face of the impeller. Buffeting from these intakes created handling problems. It did not stop the RAAF from selecting the Nene, which has more power than the Goblin, for its Vampire fighters. The elephant's ears were eventually replaced by intakes under the fuselage. The French air force also adopted the Nene. Photo from: Imperial War Museums
