First flight on 3 March 1983, delivered as a GR1 to the RAF on 27 April 1983. Followed many conversions up to GR4. The Tonka saw its last flight on 6 November 2013, was stored and cannibalized at RAF Leeming. Moved by road to RAF Boscombe Down for structural teardown by QinetiQ (after which the remains will be scrapped) in May 2014. It was eventually used at Boscombe for structural tests to destruction. It was most probably scrapped by 2017.

Delivered in 1983. Crashed on Nellis Ranges, NV in 1988. Both crew ejected successfully.

On 9 August 1994, five 15sq Tornado's from RAF Lossiemouth arrived at Gilze Rijen for a squadron rotation with the locally based 314sq. On 18 August the rotation came to an end. The squadron was disbanded on 31 March 2017 in preparation for the retirement of the Tornado GR4 in 2019. This ZA607 was first flown as a GR1 on 10 May 1982. It was delivered to the RAF on 1 July 1982. Following a long career in the RAF, and modified to GR4, the aircraft was withdrawn from use on 7 January 2019. It was moved to Sealand (UK) and preserved with the Defence Electronics & Components Agency since Feb'19.

The squadron was disbanded on 31 Mar'17 in preparation for the retirement of the Tornado GR4 in 2019. This ZA563 was first flown as a GR1 on 28 Oct'81. It was delivered to the RAF on 4 Dec'81. Following a long career in the RAF, and modified to GR4, the aircraft was placed into storage at St. Athan and later used for trails at Millbrook Proving Ground near Bedford. Eventually stored at Leeming and scrapped by mid-2016.

Air Fete 1985. 15 Squadron. Delivered to the RAF 12 May 1983. W/O 30 Mar 1988 when it crashed on the range at Nellis NV on a green flag exercise. Both crew banged out successfully at 100 feet.
