ex Bangladesh Biman S2-ABN. Entered service with Nigerian Gas Air Cargo in July 1988. On December 12, 1988, 5N-AYJ was on a cargo flight from Dar-es-Salaam to Brussels with a planned stop at Cairo. After two missed approaches due to poor visibility at Cairo the crew decided to divert to Luxor. The 707 crashed 45km short of Luxor running out of fuel.

Possibly a Gatwick or Stansted weather diversion. Delivered new to Qantas as VH-EBO on 05 Mar 1965. Sold to Singapore Airlines as 9V-BFN Nov 1973. To Arrow Air as N4225J Feb 1981. To Nigeria as 5N-ARQ with RN Cargo Oct 1983 and operated with GAS Air Cargo titles. To Dairo Air Services. Leased to Air Ivorie Jan 1997 and LACongolaise Nov 1998. Ferried to Ostend 10Aug 1999 and later scrapped.

K25 slide scan. Built 1967 as N462PA for Pan American. Korean HL7427 1977, GAS 5N-AWO 1987, Imperial Cargo 9G-ESI, later 9G-EBK 1993, Skypower Al Waha 9G-SGF 1997, Thai Flying HS-TFS 1999, Johnsons Air 9G-JET 2001, operating for Tobruk Air 2002, stored Sharjah 2005. Made airworthy again 2009 as J5-GGU for Safari Airlines. Struck approach lights on landing Mombasa 13 October 2009 followed by right hand undercarriage collapse durch taxiing to the apron and damaged beyond repair.

Although owned by and in the livery of Dairo Air Service (DAS), confusingly this 707 had GAS Air Cargo titles. I don't know why!
