The penultimate DC-6 built, delivered to JAT in 1958 as YU-AFA, and transferred the Yugoslav Air Force in 1961 as 73101 for use as Marshall Tito's personal transport . It was gifted to Zambia for use with the Zambian Air Force as GBM-110 in 1975 and after some time withdrawn from use at Lusaka, was purchased by NCA in 1994. Restored to this immaculate condition and flown by NCA on charter flights until sold to Red Bull as N996DM in June 2000. Flying as OE-LDM at time of upload.

The penultimate DC-6 was delivered to JAT as YU-AFA, then the Yugoslav Air Force as Marshall Tito's personal plane. It was gifted to Zambia as GBM-110 in 1975. The Zambia Air Force retired their DC-6s in 1992 and sold the pair to NCA in 1994. NCA operated tourist charters in Southern Africa as Classic Air Travel. In April 2001, she joined Red Bull initially as N996DM and from July 2013 OE-LDM. Current as of 2025. Photographer unknown

Even with an all-white livery, there may be subtle differences. Previously, V5-NCC flew with UN titles and the Namibian flag on the tail. These had been removed before this shot was taken at Lanseria in South Africa.
