First registered in 1946 ex EF866 and here equipped for geophysical survey work with a 'birdie' stowed under the fuselage. In 1962 it was withdrawn from use and scrapped at Burnaston (EGBD).

In 1980 it seems to have been abandoned at Malta and was acquired by the Malta Aviation Museum located at Ta' Qali (LMMT).

Imported in 1968 from Utah based Aero Service Corp., ex N9372R, with modifications for aerial survey work. The nose probe and lower rear fuselage modification, either for cameras or Doppler radar, being the most obvious. No further history found.

Originally built for the US Navy in 1941 and here in use on mineral survey work. In 1986 it was sold in the US as N423RS after which it spent time flying for Greenpeace and later, in the UK, painted as an RAF WW-II machine.
