This Ecureuil operated with the NSW Police from 1997 until 2021. It is seen here overhead a large crowd during an event in Bondi. The presence of a heavily armed police officer in the open door shows that the terrorist threat was high at that time.

This photo was taken from the coast at Clovelly, a nice place to spot whales, as well as helicopters following the NSW coastline. I saw many humpback whales and RAN helicopters there, as well as this NSW Police Squirrel that was unusually close (probably checking what I was doing there with that camera and big lens...).

VH-PHW was withdrawn from use in 2006. It has been preserved at the Police Academy at Goulburn.

VH-PHF ditched in Sydney Harbour on January 15, 1988 after an engine cowling opened in flight and struck the main rotor. Written off at the time, it was rebuilt over the next 13 years to become VH-YAT in January 2001.

Built in France 1997 and entered the Australian Register on the 14th of July 1997.
