On display in the museum at Carrasco, Montevideo's airport, is this restored Castaibert 70 hp. Uruguay's military aviation school used five Castaibert aircraft, all with different hp-engines built by French engineer Paul Castaibert, between 1917 and 1919. This particular example was taken on strength in January 1917, retired in December 1919, being replaced by the Avro 504K.

The museum surrounds Ilopango's old international terminal building and the Bellanca was, at the time, the only aircraft displayed inside. The name of the owner who donated the aircraft to the museum, Francisco Escobar Thomson, is worn beneath the canopy.
