Written off in a landing accident on 13 December 1981 at St Andrews Bay, Falkland Islands, after which it was stripped for spares and abandoned.

Preserved by Hawker Siddeley in potentially airworthy condition, and passed to the Royal Navy Historic Flight in 1970. It was destroyed following hydraulic failure after take-off from RNAS Prestwick on 10-6-89, leaving one undercarriage leg in the landing position. The pilot ((Lt. Cdr. John Beattie) reluctantly parachuted to safety, leaving the aircraft to crash into the Irish Sea.

Ex D-CACU, G-9-65, WG655. Flown by the Royal Navy Historic Flight. Damaged in a forced landing on 14-7-90, and sold to the USA to be rebuilt to flying condition as NX20MD. Returned to the UK in 2009 with The Fighter Collection at Duxford, and became G-CHFP on 20 April 2012, then re-registered G-INVN on 25th July 2018

Ex NC18, US Navy 32898, Royal Navy FT507, 44-67761. Painted as DR628/PB1, the personal aircraft of Prince Bernard of The Netherlands. Registration cancelled on 3 January 2018. (NB: FAA records show the c/n as 6869.)

C/n 88-14661 ex Portuguese AF 1505, South African AF 7441, EX894, 41-33867. Destroyed on 22 June 1982 in a crash in Malta that sadly killed pilot and owner Ted White and his friend Mark Campbell. Ted was instrumental in bringing to the UK B-17G 'Sally B', which was so named for his close companion Elly Sallingboe, who was also the inspiration for the Harvard's registration G-ELLY. This is also the reason that Sally B carries one engine marked the same as this aircraft.
