Converted for aerial surveying. 12/61: ACS Incorporated; used for aerial photography, including photographing a solar eclipse from 31,500 feet for the University of Alaska. 9/67: Confederate Air Force, Harlingen, TX.

Ca.1944: TOS USAAF as 43-22210. Fifth civilian owner converted it for spraying operations. 5 Oct 1965: Acquired by the Confederate Air Force who restored it from 1971 to 1976. 8 Oct 1988: The 70-yr-old pilot flying this plane suffered a fatal heart attack and crashed near Harlingen, TX.
