Eisenhower. 1952: Returned to the USA for overhaul and then to 6000th Base Service Group, Japan. 1955: Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. With civilian fire-bomber owners it flew in two movies: "The War Lover" and"Tora, Tora, Tora". 1985: National Warplane Museum.

After 7/09 and by 2/10: 107th FS/127th Wing (ANG), Selfridge AFB, MI. 2/12: Deployed to Afghanistan for combat in Operation Enduring Freedom.

By 2010:VMA-223, MCAS Cherry Point.

Ca.10/90: VMA-542, MCAS Cherry Point.While with this unit, it deployed to Al Jubail AB, Saudi Arabia and flew combat in Desert Storm. By 7/95: VMA-223, MCAS Cherry Point. By 1999: Marine Attack Training Squadron 203 (VMAT-203), MCAS Cherry Point. 9/04: SOC. The airframe was still being used for parts and/or training when observed in the AV-8 maintenance hangar at Cherry Point in 2012.
