In the late nineties, the Mexican air force turned to Russia to buy aircraft and helicopters, one of these was An-32B 3101 bought with 1555 flight hours. With its huge engines and hot-and-high qualities it was well-suited to deliver aid to the far corners of the country. It was written off with 2384 flight hours on 24 November 2010 near Monterrey with the loss of its entire crew of five.

Around the turn of the century, the Mexican navy launched a kit plane assembly programme, which produced a handful of Lancairs, one of which is ME-120 seen here. It was previously registered as EX-02 in the experimental phase, and received registration AMP-161 in 2004, denoting its mission as a maritime patrol aircraft...

The Mexico's Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) operated a large fleet of helicopters in the fight against organized crime and illicit crops, for which XC-LFA carries spraying equipment. After most of the fleet was handed over to the air force in 2007, XC-LFA was re-equipped for medical duties and as such put up for sale in 2019.

A large number of Huey helicopters were delivered to Mexico's Attorney General of the Republic (PGR) to fight against organized crime. With their dark blue colours they surely looked impressive. This Huey is ex 67-17854 and was eventually put up for sale in 2019.

A participant of the 2003 Acapulco Air Show, at the time the Mexican air force operated only six S-70A-24A for the special forces, and 1093 was one of them. It arrived back at its homebase Santa Lucia the next day.

The Mexican navy showed one of its Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters at the Acapulco Air Show 2003. In 2004, this helicopter was reregistered as AMHT-208, and it was lost as such in a crash near El Perote on 10 September 2009.
