N101B was part a fleet of helicopters and planes used by Australian Petroleum Co (APC) for oil and mineral exploration in Papua New Guinea. World Wide Air Services operated the aircraft which were later transferred to the Australian register. N101B became VH-WWD in April 1956 and crashed in October 1958. The Seabee in the background was stored at Badili after being found unsuitable. Photo by: Lloyd Caughey This photo was added on 12 August 2022, and has since been viewed 348 times. |
