To Northwest Airways in 1929. In 1935 to Alaska. Then it joined Monroe Airlines, Michigan. In June 1951 it was purchased by Johnson Flying Service, Missoula, MT with new c/r N8419 to be used by the United States Fire Services but for a short while it was used in a film "Red Skies of Montana". It was also leased back to Northwest Airlines for a commemorative flight in 1956. On 4 August 1959 the aircraft crashed at Grangeville, Idaho killing three people. The aircraft was substantially destroyed but rebuilt from the remains and other Tri-motor components. Registration cancelled 14 February 2018.
