German police confiscated our films. They developed them, saw that nothing suspicious was on it and sent the negatives back. They did a decent job, as this pic shows.

Ex-Air Berlin and LTU D-ALTH

This InterSky Dash 8 arrives at Tegel from Friedrichshafen during the airline's heyday. InterSky faced increasing competition in the German domestic market, made a few ill-fated attempts to establish secondary bases, and invested in an expensive refleeting program with ATR-72s that led to insolvency in 2015. This particular aircraft was delivered to Palestinian Airlines in June 2000 as SU-YAM and also flew with Baboo as HB-JEJ before coming to InterSky. In early 2012, it started flying with Maldivian as 8Q-IAS.

Built in 1959. Ex-N7840E. To D-EFGO in 1962.

Ex SP-WNU displayed as "Der grösste Doppeldecker der Welt" (the world's largest biplane) at Thomas Spehar's Esso gas station at the Alkenrather Strasse in Leverkusen-Alkenrath, Germany. Preserved here since 2005. Mr. Spehar also has a Mil Mi-2 on display at his gas station.

Johnson Flying Service bought this C-47A from the USAAF (ex 43-15731) in 1946 and operated it out of their base at Missoula, MT until sold in 1977. In 2001 Stan Cohen's Museum of Mountain Flying, also based at Missoula, bought it from McNeely Charter Service, and it arrived back at Missoula on 17 Oct 2001 on delivery. Initially the museum restored the aircraft to static display condition and by 2008 it had been repainted it in these original Johnson colours. It was later restored to flying condition, and Miss Montana had its first post-restoration flight out of Missoula on 19 May 2019. Three weeks later it participated in the Berlin Airlift 70th Anniversary in the UK, France and Germany as seen here, in pristine condition.

This former Volkspolizei Mi-2 remained in use in the reunified Germany for a couple of years.

This 757 was delivered to Condor in July 1991 and is pictured lifting off rw23L. In December 2006, it went to L'Avion (GOAL) as F-HAVN and then to OpenSkies in April 2009. It operated its last flight for the compay in August 2018 and was ferried to Goodyear (GYR) for storage. Fortunately, it was rescued from the Land of Sand as in January 2019 it was ferried to Jacksonville Cecil Field (VQQ) for freighter conversion. The plane now flies for Asia Pacific Airlines as N688SL.

This 753 was delivered to Condor in March 2000. It started flying under the unpopular 'Condor powered by Thomas Cook' branding in March 2003 and is pictured here departing off rw23L. The frame is still current with Condor.

This 319 was delivered to Air France in March 2001 and is pictured here lining up on rw33. The plane is still current with the airline.

This RJ85 was delivered to Lufthansa in March1995 and is pictured here about to depart from rw33. The frame is still current in Iran with Mahan Air as EP-MOP.

This 321 is pictured being towed back to its bay after completing engine run-up tests in the pen. The plane made its first flight the following day and was delivered to Iberia as EC-JGS on 13th May.
