Departure after the Tag der offenen Tür weekend in 1971.

One of four Trackers converted for the Kon Marine as Utility/trainers in 1971. I caught this doing circuits on a fine morning at Valkenburg with most of the other then current types in service. Scrapped 7 Jan1976 apparently.

On a fine morning on the Dutch coast I managed to catch most of the Dutch Navy's types doing circuits. I made it back to my place near Heathrow in 3 hours from the Valkenburg approach on public transport though I had to run for the BEA Trident!

Philips operated a range of corporate aircraft over the years but this early GII was only with them from Feb 1970 to Dec 1971 when sold to Canada, then going on to the USA and eventually the Panama Govt with whom it flew as HP-1A (reg previously used on a Falcon 20), having been converted to SP standard complete with winglets. Re-re HP-1691 and for sale at Fort Pierce, FL in 2014.
