One of two bought by Afrek in 1976 for cargo work and wfu early eighties but sold to Aerocaribbean as CU-T121 in 8.84. Broken up for spares by Trans Air Cargo of Zaire at Havana in 11.95, just too soon for me as I was there the next month

Delivered to Egyptair in 3.76, this 737 was sold to GPA in 7.92 and later served Air Lanka, Aero USA, Air Atlanta, Air Philippines, Aerolineas Argentinas and ended up with Metro Batavia as PK-YTA in 1.02. Now understood to be stored

Former RCAF Canso, civilianized in 1956, was operated by Air Caledonia out of Vancouver on charters from 1982 - 1986. It's presently in New Zealand undergoing restoration (ZK-PBY).

VH-ECC was with Qantas from October 1980 to August 2002 when it was flown into storage at Marana, Arizona, and later scrapped.

9V-SKA went to Ansett as VH-INH in 1994 and returned to Singapore Airlines and its previous identity in 1999. It became N792BA in 2001.

Paying a short visit to Hellinikon from its Elefsis base, this 354 Mira Noratlas is now preserved at Tripolis AB. One of 60 acquired from Germany, the serial was derived from its previous WGAF career as 53+40

This is 43-48981 (RHAF 96232), which remained derelict at the old Hellinikon airport after it closed

At this time serving the 438th MAW, this Starlifter repatriated the pilot of the second Black Hawk 'down' in the battle of Mogadishu in 10.93. To AMARC 13.4.01 and since broken up like most of her sister-ships

I'm not really into biz-jets at all, but there are exceptions if they sport airline colours. JetStars were always something special and one in Iraqi colours much more so. Went on to become 7T-VHP then much later (briefly) OD-MKI and ended up derelict at Geneva as HB-JGK
