Prior to delivery to the Algerian government, this is the first produced EC 225, the civilian version of the EC 725 Caracal. It won't be used for long in Algeria, and will subsequently be exported to Germany as D-HPIT.

The forward fuselage was preserved at Neerhespen in January 2019 and is used by the Belgian Federal Police to train explosive/drug finding dogs. The aircraft name is stickered on.
