The Experimental Aircraft Programme (EAP) demonstrated key technologies for use in the development of the Eurofighter Typhoon. This was on the only one built. It first flew a month earlier. On its first public display at Farnborough. With drawn from use in 1991 and used as a ground trainer at Loughborough University. To The RAF Museum, Cosford in 2012.

Twenty-four of these placid looking aircraft were used by some French Marine Infantry aviation units based in Africa from 1957. They served in Senegal, Mauritania an Chad, and were passed on to the ALAT in 1965. Fourteen were eventually sent to France, where their subsequent career was quite discreet. The museum's example never served in the army however, but was registered on the French civilian register as F-BFYP. It is painted to represent an aircraft serving with the 1er GALTDM based mainly in Chad, coded KAK, whose original c/n was 22-7490.

Registered as G-BLTY in 1985. With test reg G-17-9 before delivery as VT-EKG. Restored as G-BLTY in 2000 and stored. In a private yard at Tewkesbury by 2020.

Delivered to the RAF as Andover C.1 XS610 in 1966. Converted to an Andover E.3 in 1976. Operated by Hunting Aviation from 1993. To Air Aid as P4-BLL then to Air Transport Office as 9Q-CVK in 1996 and to Aero Service in 1997. Crashed near Kapoeta Airport, South Sudan after an engine failure on takeoff in 2005.
