A replica of the original 1925 design by Ernst Udet, built in 1993 by Josef Kurz and others from the Oldtimer Segelflugclub Wasserkuppe (titles and logo carried), working from Udet's original drawings. This Flamingo is now owned by Ulrich Stengele and based at Bad Neustadt in Germany.

This aircraft is a replica of the Bücker Bu-131 Jungmann, built in Poland by SSH Serwis Samolotów Historycznych (Historic Aircraft Service), formed by Janusz Karasiewicz. Carries small "34° Club Frecce Tricolori - Vicenza" titles on the rudder and has a Frecce Tricolori badge on the forward fuselage.

This former BFS calibrator Dove is only two months away from its 50th birthday, which is fairly young for the type. It is owned by Michael Euchner, who now flies it out of Baden Airpark near Söllingen in Germany.

Christoph Dubler and his Antonov Verein Schweiz brought this blue Antonov 2 to Hahnweide. Despite its Hungarian registration, this aircraft flies out of Grenchen in Switzerland.

Ex Luftwaffe 5630.

This rare 1936-built Dragon (ex G-EACZ and RAF AV982) is painted to resemble Aer Lingus' very first aircraft, EI-ABI "Iolar", which flew the airline's first service in July 1936. Unfortunately that aircraft was shot down by the Luftwaffe in June 1941. Aer Lingus obtained this Dragon in 1967 for their Historic Flight, initially registered as EI-AFK but already painted as EI-ABI. It was officially registered to them as EI-ABI in Aug 1985, and transferred to the Aer Lingus Charitable Foundation in Feb 2011. It carries the foundation's logo on the engines.

This early Dove, built in 1949, was acquired by Ingo Presser's Air Incentive Classic GmbH in 2004 (ex G-BLRN, N531WB and RAF WB531) and restored to flying condition. It was painted in these nice commemorative LTU colours (as worn by LTU's original D-INKA c/n 04011 in the 1950s) and first flew as such in May 2005. By 2013 this was the world's only Dove with an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC).

This 1945-built Dominie was a static display aircraft at Frankfurt's Rhein-Main Airport, until restored to flying condition by Josef Koch in 1993-1995. It now operates for his Fliegendes Museum out of Grossenhain, Germany. It was repainted in new colours in 2012 and is now appropriately named "Lady Dominie".

Stefan Ulrich Kühlbrey flies this rare 1937-built Stinson from its base at Stuttgart-Pattonville in Germany. This immaculate aircraft carries nice "Gullwing Airlines" titles (which is not and never was a genuine airline). and an equally nice "Stinson Power since the Year 1937" logo.

Built in 1960, owned by Bernd Axenbeck and although registered in France it is based at Walldürn in Germany. It flew with the French Air Force until 1986, serialed 261, and still carries those markings.

This Dornier flew with MFG5 as 5911 until withdrawn from use in 1995, and became D-IRES a short time later.

Dirk Sadlowski acquired this fairly rare Beech Twin Bonanza in September 2012, and although US-registered, he usually keeps it at Paderborn-Lippstadt in Germany. The aircraft was built in 1953.

This original Blériot XI is owned and flown by Mikael Carlson. It was licence-built in Sweden in 1918 by AB Enoch Thulin Aeroplanfabrik (AETA), under the name Thulin A and serial number 82-748. In 1986 Mikael found it in a barn in disassembled but complete condition, restored it, and first flew it in 1991. He originally intended to fly his other Bleriot XI SE-AMZ at the 2013 Hahnweide show, but this was damaged at the Dittingen airshow the week before. Mikael keeps his planes at his private airstrip at Kvarnhem, Sebbarp in Löberöd, Sweden.

Josef Schumacher's Harvard was originally delivered to the RCAF on 9 May 1952 as 20286. It served with them until becoming N13631 in 1969. To G-BKCK in 1990 and finally to Germany in 1997. It was fully restored in 2005 and is now based at Aachen-Merzbrück. The name is only carried on the other side.

Striking wing design on this rare glider survivor, almost like a real bird. This aircraft was built circa 1936 by Sportflugzeugbau Göppingen, formed in 1935 by Wolf Hirth and Martin Schempp. After the war it was used by the Royal Air Force at Geilenkirchen in then West Germany, until sold and brought to the UK in the late 1960s, where it was restored and flew again in 1972 as BGA 1738. It went to the USA as N37JK in 1984, then moved to the Netherlands in 1989 as PH-848. In 2005 it was sold to Tilo Holighaus and Sieger Maier and became one of the historic gliders of the Fliegenden Museums Hahnweide.
