The 52nd Turbo Beaver mfd 1967. After many years with the Ontario Provincial Government this Beaver served with the RCMP from 1980 to 1993 when it went to a private owner in Sioux Lookout in Ontario.

Bombardier operates this a/c in training Canadian Forces pilots at Portage la Prairie. Stopped at AOG to have a checkup.

In 1954 United Airlines took over a cancelled order for two CV340s by Pioneer Airlines. This one was registered N73154 . Sold in 1968 and converted to a CV580, the airliner would fly for several corporations like Aero Spacelines, Armstrong Cork / Armstrong World Industries and Hubbard Broadcasting. Pictured with Kelowna Flightcraft being prepared for Airfreight NZ with whom it would be registered ZK-FTB in July. Unfortunately, the freighter would crash into Manukau Harbour after taking off from Auckland, NZ on July 31, 1989 during a scheduled / training flight.

A spares aircraft for Kelowna Flightcraft. This was one of two CV340s converted to turboprop powered YC-131C in 1954 by the installation of YT-56-A-3 engines, thus becoming America's first multi-engine turboprop military transports. Assigned USAF serial 53-7886 where it served alongside 53-7887 as a testbed to prove the feasibility of turboprop engines for military operations. In 1955 the two aircraft flew a total of 3,000 hours and were later assigned to MATS. Was leased to General Motors in 1957 for development testing of Allison's civilian 501-D13 version of the T-56. It later served with the FAA and a host of civilian operators.
