Canadian Airlines regional partner Inter-Canadian introduced the first ATR 42 into Canada in 1988. In 1990, Inter-Canadian cancelled their code share agreement and became Intair. The business plan failed and Canadian re-purchased the airline to resurrect Inter-Canadian. This ATR, delivered October 26, 1988, was sold to Cimber Air in November 1997 (OY-CIU). It's current with Danish Air Transport at the time of uploading.

A bankruptcy plan did not materialize and aircraft were seized. After a short storage at Mojave, CA, the airplane went on to Armenian International Airways as EK-32001. It was written of after a hangar fire in Brussels caused the roof to collapse on it and three other airplanes.
