A total of sixteen Korean Aerospace T-50's have been procured by the TNI-AU and delivered to Skadron Udara 15 based in Iswahyudi as from 2013, replacing the BAe Hawk Mk53. The T-50's carry the serials TT-5001 through TT-5016, and "TT" stands for "Tempur Taktis" or Tactical Fighter. Unfortunately, TT-5007 was lost during a rehearsal for an open day in Yogyakarta on December 20, 2015, killing both crew.

First flew as CF-NNM-X then delivered to Seaboard World as N125SW in 1961. To Transglobe Airways as G-AWDK in 1968 then to Tradewinds Airlines in 1969 and Bayu Indonesia Air as PK-BAZ in 1979. Withdrawn from use at Jakarta-Halim in 1990 and scrapped by 2000.

Delivered new to Kingfisher as VT-KAH 19th Apr 2007 and returned to lessor as M-YWAB 26th March 2013. Became PK-PAW with Pelita 14th June 2013 and converted to freighter June 2020

Indonesia's Air Force TNI-AU was the 1st export customer of the Korean built KT-1 and received 17 units. A few have been lost unfortunately, including the one pictured here on December 7, 2020 during approach to Adisutjipto Air Base in Yogjakarta (where the fleet is based). Apparently, Indonesia ordered three more KT-1's in 2018. The first a/c, delivered as from 2006, wore a light grey paint, but soon afterwards the TNI-AU started to apply this red/white livery with big black registration letters. All TNI-AU KT-1's are now assigned to the Jupiter Aerobatic Team.

Indonesia's IPTN-Nurtanio aircraft facility in Bandung is mainly known for co-producing fixed-wing aircraft with Spain's CASA, such as the C212 Aviocar, the CN235 and the C295. However, it also built under licence different MBB, Bell and Aérospatiale helicopters for the local civilian and military market. Some 26 Super Pumas, of which at least 12 went to the Indonesian AF, were built locally since the mid 1980's. The one pictured here is assigned to VIP Sqn 45 based at Halim, and has since been repainted in an attractive white/red paint scheme (representing the national colors of Indonesia).

To De Kroonduif as JZ-PDF in 1961 then to Merpati as PK-GDP in 1963. Reregistered as PK-NDF in 1964. Later to Dirgantara Air Service as PK-VTO and to the Indonesian Air Force as AF-4776 in 1993. Preserved at Halim from 2003.

Registered as N3233J in 1995 then to Indonesia Air Transport as PK-TRX in 1996. To the Myanmar Air Force as 4602 by 2014.

Registered as N3237H then to Indonesia Air Transport as PK-TRW in 1995. To the Myanmar Air Force as 4601 by 2014. Crashed in Myanmar in 2016.

Delivered to Great Lakes Airlines as N94UX in 1994. Reregistered as N94GL in 2001. To ZS-PPX in 2005, PK-OCW in 2006, VH-NOA in 2007, ZS-ALT in 2016 and VH-JYA in 2020.
