The extraordinary Be-200 jet amphibian first flew in 1998 and seven of this fire-fighting version were ordered, although there were plans for passenger and SAR versions to follow, using Western engines and marketing. They have seen service in Italy, Portugal and Greece, while one has been bought by Azerbaijan

The Il-114 was designed as a replacement for the An-24/26, first flying in 1990 with expectations of hundreds being built. However the type vies with the Dassault Mecure for the least-produced commercial aircraft with only ten being completed to date, therefore being much less prolific than the similar-looking ATP, itself not a huge success. This was the first Tashkent-produced example and after storage went into service in 2002 with St Petersburg-based Vyborg as RA-91014; wfu at Pskov 2010/2014 and due to be scrapped

First flying in 1994, only about a dozen of this Garrett TPE331-powered development of the An-28 have been built so far, despite optimistic predictions by Antonov.
