Wearing its original military colours and just a very small civil registration under the tailplane, this Varsity gets ready to taxi for take-off. G-BEDV is often incorrectly said to be c/n 619, but that is WJ895. The c/n for WJ945 is unknown.

Pictured dismantled at the Imperial War Museum Duxford and awaiting transport to Newquay to begin her new life with the Classic Air Force. They will use her as an exhibit illustrating how RAF V-bomber navigators were trained. Formerly G-BEDV.

N16-239 was sold in the UK in 2014.

Converted to a PQM-102A drone in 1.75 and shot down over the White Sands Test Range during a flight from Holloman AFB, NM on 12.01.78
