Photo may be taken at Suttons Farm where 2687 was sent in November 1915. Suttons Farm was one of the aerodromes built to defend London against Zeppelin raids. It closed after the war and returned to farming use. However it was soon acquired by the RAF to become Hornchurch aerodrome, one of the key bases during the Battle of Britain. It closed for good in 1962. Photo from: Library and Archives Canada

Only one Supermarine Baby fighter flew. The second, N60, became spares for the first and work on the third was abandoned. Location almost certainly Port Victoria where the RAF, and the RNAS before it, had a marine aircraft testing station. The Baby was the basis of the Supermarine Sea Lion I entered in the 1919 Schneider Trophy race. Photo from: Library and Archives Canada

The pristine condition of A9705 suggests it was at the factory or on handover to the RFC. Airco and the handover were at Hendon. A9507 was sent to 64 Squadron France in November 1917 but was back in the UK in February 1918 after being withdrawn from use.
