Actually 29061 and formerly served as gate guard here at Châteaudun back in the 1970s with correct serial. The Armee l'Air received about 125 Thunderstreaks from US supplies and remarkably among these were the only examples of the type to see combat action, in the Suez conflict of 1956. The first F-84Fs were withdrawn by 1958 and by 1966 they were finished.
