This FY83 US Navy F/A-18A-16-MC with BuNo Bu162456 was delivered to the US Marine Corps 1987. It was sold to Spain and delivered on 27 August 1996. It was assigned to Grupo 21 and then moved to Ala 11. In 2001, the Hornet was flown back to the States, NAD North Island (CA) for an extensive overhaul and was redelivered to Gando on 5 November 2001.

This FY83 US Navy F/A-18A-16-MC with BuNo Bu162456 was delivered to the US Marine Corps 1987. It was sold to Spain and delivered on 27 August 1996. It was assigned to Grupo 21 and then moved to Ala 11. In 2001, the Hornet was flown back to the States, NAD North Island (CA) for an extensive overhaul and was redelivered to Gando on 5 November 2001.
