Saw military service in West Germany and Vietnam before being put into storage in 1969. Joined Leuenberger in 1976. Converted to a Vazar Turbine Otter with PT-6 power over the winter of 2003-04. Exported to Canada in 1969 initially as CF-YLZ, becoming C-FYLZ in 1983. Joined the associated companies Mattice Lake Outfitters and Wabakimi Air at Armstrong, Ontario in 2006 following conversion to Walter 601 turbine power at Silver Falls, Manitoba. After a landing accident involving a submerged rock, refurbished by Recon Air and repainted in this striking black and white scheme for 2013.
