To Turkey AF in 1972 as 56-3884 and crashed at Bor/Nigde 26 November 1974. The Statue of Liberty badge on the tail identifies this as belonging to 48th TFW which had relocated from Chaumont-Semoutiers to Lakenheath (EGUL) the year before. (Note the junior spotter in the foreground equipped with ubiquitous Brownie 127 camera.)

Built in 1959 and flew with Pan Am until sale to United in 1968 as N8243U. Converted to freighter in 1977 and scrapped at Miami (KMIA) in 1985. Notice the marshaler waving him into a 180 degree turn in front of the terminal. My dream job when I was a schoolboy.

Registered in 1955 ex DE974 to Norman Jones of Tiger Club fame. It was modified to 'Super Tiger' standard which included fairing over the rear cockpit and more power along with an inverted fuel system. This was one of three, the others being G-ANMZ (The Cannon) and G-AOAA (The Deacon) and they often flew at air shows tied together with bunting. Current under different ownership in 2022.
