Delivered to the RAAF on 12 Sept 1941 for use in the Empire Air Training Scheme. Served with 1 ANS, 1 AOS, 1 WAGS, 2 AOS. Overhauled by Ansett in 1945 & stored for a year before being sold. Registered VH-BLG on 21 Oct 1949. Badly damaged in forced landing near Mudgee in 1959 & withdrawn. Wreckage salvaged in 1975 and nose rebuilt to original wartime configuration. Currently on display at the AWM, Canberra.

Two Ansons of 14 Ferry Pool, Air Transport Auxiliary, return in formation to their base at Manchester's Ringway Airport. The veteran aircrews aboard have just delivered several new Woodford-built Lancasters to Bomber Command airfields in Lincolnshire. Obtained from an ATA pilot over 50 years ago.

Ex RAF Anson I operated by the Ringway based Finglands Airways on charters and UK schedules during 1949-1951.

This Anson I (ex RAF EG265) overshot Ringway's 3300 ft Runway 28 on arrival on a charter flight. Repaired and served Loxhams, based at Blackpool, until withdrawn in February 1950.

Blue Line Airways were based at Tollerton Airport, Nottingham, and operated from July 1946 until closing down in August 1949. It is visiting Speke Airport on Grand National Day 1949 with racegoers. 'KFL has blue cowlings, registration and cabin roof titling and served from June 1948 until closure. Ex RAF NK674.

Fingland's Anson I was flown on scheduled and charter services from its Ringway base between June 1949 and sale in early 1952. It later went to Kenya as VP-KME.

Ex Fleet Air Arm and AST Hamble. Bought by Derby Aviation for spares recovery. Crudely deleted roundels, but serial remains visible. Still extant in derelict condition in May 1958.

Blackpool-based AN&T operated this ex RAF Anson I (ex EG436) between January 1950 and sale to Singapore as VR-SDK in March 1952.

Federated's Anson I has arrived from its Liverpool (Speke) base to pick up a cargo of newspapers bound for the Isle of Man. The ex-RAF Anson (ex MH182) served the small airline from 1954 until disposal in April 1961.
