This aircraft was equipped with HEVS or Hercules Enhanced Vision System as indicated by the bumps on the nose. A lucky catch in Star Wars Canyon during a det at Inyokern Airport.

1972: TOS USAF and assigned to the 65th Fighter Weapons Squadron, 57th Fighter Weapons Wing, Nellis AFB, NV. 1975: 23rd Tactical Fighter Wing, England AFB, LA. By 1979: 75th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 23rd TFW. 1982: 124th TFS, 132nd TFW (ANG), Des Moines, IA. 15 Sep 1992: AMARC, Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ as AE0207. 4/97: Sold for reclamation and salvaged. By 2011: Front section was preserved at Ellington ANG Base, TX, and is a traveling exhibit.

VH-HFA when it was an active part of the warbird scene in Australia. Now unregistered and preserved at the Queensland Air Museum.

Retired at Davis Monthan AFB in 1992 with park code AE207 and scrapped in 1997. Front fuselage saved and used as a travelling exhibit.

It is carrying the badges of 23 TFW (left) and 4450 TG (right).

VH-HFA was withdrawn from use in 2016.

This A-7 was retired to AMARG during Sept. 92 where it was stored with the PCN/Inventory No. AAAE0207. It was then moved to the National scrapyard bordering DM after which the nose section wound up as this fairground attraction. It carries the badges of 132 TFW (left) and 124 TFS (right) of the Iowa ANG.
