The RAAF Museum's Tiger was built to an EATS order and allocated RAF serial DX781, but was taken over by the RAAF as A17-692. Civilianised after the war, it became VH-TWA with the Tamworth Aero Club on 31 October 1958. It was subsequently re-registered VH-AWA(2) in March 1961.

More than 65 years earlier, this aircraft was based at Temora during its wartime service with 10 EFTS. It returned again as part of the RAAF 90th Anniversary Air Pilgrimage. This is an ex RNZAF aircraft NZ1485 and was ZK-DAM before coming to Australia in 1986. It was loaned to the Fleet Air Arm Museum and painted to represent Australian navy aircraft A17-692. The real A17-692 is at the RAAF Museum Point Cook with the civil rego VH-AWA. VH-NVT later repainted in its correct RNZAF markings. Crashed into the sea off Fraser Island, Queensland.
