This C-47A started life as 42-92725 of the USAAF, delivered in Feb 1944. In the late 1970s it briefly served with the Chile Air Force as 969, before being transferred to the Paraguay Air Force in the early 1980s as 2030. It reportedly suffered a mishap of some kind on 24 Nov 1994 and was wriiten off, ending up in storage.

It reportedly suffered a mishap of some kind on 24 Nov 1994 and was wriiten off, ending up in storage here at Campo Grando AB. The aircraft does not show apparent signs of damage.

After unification of Germany former East German AF aircraft received serials fitting in the (formet West) German system. By omitting the 'Balkenkreuz' in the serial it was indicated that those aircraft were not flown.

After reunification of Germany former NVA 558 became 20+30 in German service and was transported to Ingolstdt for various tests. After testing is was parked without any markings until moved to France. Now preserved in Musée de l'Air Paris as 26 (Red).
