Originally delivered May 11, 1976 to Garuda Indonesia as PK-GVU christened Kamundan, this F-28 was sold back to Fokker in June 1984. Re-delivered to Piedmont Airlines the following December as N298N, it was registered N451US when the airline merged with US Air in 1989. Time Air registered the aircraft C-FJRI in 1991, merging into Canadian Partner in 1993 when Canadian Airlines consolidated their regional partners. After another merger into Air Canada Regional in 2001 as Air Canada took over Canadian Airlines, C-FJRI was withdrawn circa 2002 and stored at Saskatoon, SK airport.
