Parked in a far corner and barely visible from outside the fence was DC-6 HK-3530-X in full Transoceanica Colombia livery and with all four engines still present, although one is missing a cowling. It was moved to Puerto Colombia for display in 2017.

Delivered to the US Navy as R6D-1 Bu131569 in 1952. To the USAF as C-118A 51-17628 in 1958. Back to the US Navy as C-118B Bu131569 in 1964. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 8C040 in 1985. Sold as N2079G then HK-3530X in 1989. Withdrawn from use at Barranquilla in 1996. Later preserved at Port Colombia,

Parked in a garden by the sea in Puerto Colombia, some 35km west of Barranquilla. No external markings, but ex Transoceanica Colombia DC-6 HK-3530X

The DC-6 parked in a small garden in the coastal town of Puerto Colombia. There is no external identity visible, and the garden is now fenced off. But the airplane was first reported here in 2017, when they were cleaning up the airport in Barranquilla, some 35km east from here. A DC-6 and DC-8 were removed from the airfield, so I asume this DC-6 is the DC-6 from the dump in Barranquilla, HK-3530X ex Transoceanica Colombia. After arrival here in Puerto Colombia, engines were reinstalled and new fake cowlings have been installed.
