Beautifully restored Kaydet at the Tri-State Warbird Museum. With no flaps, retractable landing gear or a variable pitch propeller, these simple aircraft helped train thousands of USAAF and USN pilots in World War II. This aircraft was delivered to the US Navy on 09 June 43. It served as a primary trainer at NAS Memphis and NAS Bunker Hill. Stricken on 31 Oct 46, it passed onto civilian hands and suffered a crash in 1958. Restored to airworthiness in 1991, it was purchased by the museum in 2005.
